Tara Stewart is a RTÉ 2FM radio DJ and also one of the country’s leading voices in sustainable fashion. From charity shopping, DIY and alterations, her wardrobe is the envy of us all. Here’s a sneaky look at Tara’s favorite looks.
80’s dress I bought from Dublin Vintage Facotory in Temple Bar! I adore this dress, firstly it is HELLA comfy and I feel so glam with the built in shoulder pads!
Black suit 2 piece that I got altered and made from 2 men’s blazers I found in a charity shop! For some reason I decided to paint it also with my name all over it….not really sure why if I’m honest but it looks fab I think!
This Jean Paul Gaultier is one of my prized possessions. It’s from Nine Crows from a few years ago! I asked them to keep an eye out for any JPG in my size and when this arrived I was so happy. The quality is amazing!!
This black and white two piece I actually bought from a charity shop and it fit me perfectly but I just felt it was too long in the blazer and skirt, I also like some outfits to shape my body so I decided to get it altered and taken up above the knee and into a mini skirt suit! I absolutely adore this outfit, it’s originally from the 80’s. I just love how long vintage clothes last…like all clothes should!!
This incredibly dramatic faux fur coat is one of the best finds I’ve ever had!! It’s from Nine Crows and fits me like a GLOVE. It is the ULTIMATE winter coat. I don’t ever have to get another faux fur because this one trumps them all tbh.
